Abstract

SANITARY UNIT INCLUDING A WASTE BOWL 4 FIXED IN A PUBLIC PART 1, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT IT INCLUDES AT LEAST 7 MOBILE CLEANING MEANS FOR THE WASTE BOWL, PROVIDED IN A TECHNICAL SECTION 2, A MOBILE HATCH 8 FROM A FIRST POSITION WHERE IT ISOLATES THE PUBLIC PART OF THE TECHNICAL PART TO A SECOND POISITION WHERE IT RELEASES THE WAY FOR THE CLEANING MEANS, ACTUATION MEANS 12 FOR THE MOBILE HATCH, AND ACTUATION MEANS FOR THE MEANS OF CLEANING.

Description

The present invention relates to a sanitary unit and

  more particularly such a unit comprising a toilet bowl

  fixed session in a public part of the unit.

  Such sanitary units are generally installed in public places but almost always have the disadvantage that their cleanliness leaves something to be desired, whence result from

serious hygiene issues.

  To overcome these drawbacks, sanitary units have already been proposed, the cleaning of which takes place automatically after the passage of a user, but in these units the toilet bowl is mobile. These units therefore have

  complex mechanisms which can cause breakdowns.

  The present invention aims to provide a sanitary unit whose toilet bowl is fixed but whose cleanliness can

  nevertheless be ensured by automatic cleaning.

  To this end, the subject of the present invention is a sanitary unit comprising a fixed toilet bowl in a public part, characterized in that it comprises at least mobile cleaning means for the toilet bowl arranged in a technical part, a movable hatch from a first position where it isolates the public part of the technical part to a second position where it frees the passage for the cleaning means, actuation means for the movable hatch and means

  actuation for cleaning means.

  In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the movable hatch is formed by a backsplash disposed behind the toilet bowl and closing an orifice in a partition between the

  public part and the technical part.

  Preferably the movable hatch is designed to escape

  moting inside the technical part, means being available

  placed in this part to clean it during its movement.

  This arrangement is particularly advantageous in the case where the movable hatch is formed by a backsplash disposed behind the toilet bowl since this backsplash is then cleaned each time

use.

  In a particular embodiment, the cleaning means for the toilet bowl are arranged at the end of a first telescopic arm, the other end of which is integral

  from the end of a second telescopic arm.

  In another embodiment, the sanitary unit according to the invention comprises, in its technical part, a storage location for bags capable of adapting to the toilet bowl and means for transferring said bags one by one.

  Such bags have the double advantage that, on the one hand, their edges can be arranged to cover the part forming the seat of the toilet bowl and that, on the other hand,

  avoid soiling the same bowl.

  These bags can for example be held in place by pinching between a movable part in the seat of the bowl

  The technical part 2 comprises for its part cleaning means 7 for the toilet bowl 4 which will be described more in

  detail below and a movable hatch 8 is arranged in the enclosure

  In the technical part 2 are also arranged a reserve 10 of disinfectant products, a booster 11 whose function will be described below as well as cleaning means 12

for the mobile hatch 8.

  The cleaning means 7 are mounted on a frame 13 and comprise, as shown in particular in FIG. 3, a telescopic arm 14, one end 15 of which is mounted on the frame 13 and which carries at its other end 16 a second arm

telescopic 17.

  The telescopic arm 17 has one end 18 mounted on the end 16 of the telescopic arm 14 and a second end 19

  which carries the actual cleaning means 20.

  The cleaning means 20 are essentially formed by a rotary brush 21 as well as an inlet for

  cleaning which will be described below.

  In the embodiment shown in the drawings, the

  movable hatch 8 is formed by a backsplash disposed behind the cu-

  ease 4 and mounted on a device not shown per-

  -4- a movement of the backrest 8 which causes it to pass in front of a

  brush 22 integrated into the cleaning means 12.

  Figure 11 shows in more detail the means of

  operation of the various mobile elements which have just been described above. The telescopic arm 14 is moved by a motor 30 while the telescopic arm 17 is moved by a motor 31. Furthermore

  the rotary brush 21 is driven by a motor 32.

  The cleaning means 12 also include a mo-

  tor 33 intended to drive the brush 22 while the backsplash 8 is driven in translation in front of this brush 22 by a motor 34 mounted on the partition 9 separating the public part 1 from the part

technique 2.

  The booster pump 11 is driven by a motor 35

  while a solenoid valve 36 (Figures 11 and 12) allows the

  water mentation of the sanitary unit.

  Finally a grinder 37 is preferably provided at the outlet

  of the toilet bowl 4 and is driven by a motor 38.

  Figure 12 shows the fluid circuits in

the health unit.

  The water supply is carried out from a cana-

  reading 40 controlled by a general cut-off valve 41.

  The solenoid valve 36 makes it possible to switch the water supply from the circuit 42 intended for the technical part 1 to the circuit 43 connected by

  example to a sink such as 44 arranged in the public part 1.

  A mixing valve 45 is provided on the circuit 42 for mixing disinfectant product coming from the reserve 10 with the water

brought by conduit 42.

  The mixture is distributed on the one hand through

  a valve 46 to the cleaning device 20 of the air bowl

  4 and secondly to the booster 11.

  The booster 11 is used to supply, via a valve 47, either a flushing conduit 48 or a conduit

  49 for cleaning the floor 3 of the public part 1.

  Evacuation takes place through a conduit 50 into which the outlet of the crusher 37 opens on the one hand and a

  conduit 51 through which the soil cleaning water 3 flows.

  The operation of this health unit will be

  holding described in more detail with reference to Figures 2, 3 and 4.

  During use, the sanitary unit is in the configuration shown in Figure 1 with the movable hatch 8

  in the position shown in solid lines.

  After the user leaves and the door closes, the lack of weight on the floor 3 causes the door to be blocked by the presence detector, as shown in Figure 2.

  The movable hatch 8 is then released and then reassembled by the action of the motor 34. The brush 22 of the washing means 12 is

  Simultaneously the toilet flush and the grinder are

  The telescopic arm 14 is then extended through the

  The washing means are then put into action at the same time as the brush 21 is applied against the front part of

  the toilet bowl 4 then goes up along this front part.

  During this phase the valve 46 is open to bring to the means

  wash 20 a mixture of water and disinfectant.

  When the arm 17 has been sufficiently retracted, the arm 14 may in turn be so as to clean the upper part of the toilet bowl comprising the seat 5 and the bench seat. When the arm 14 has been fully retracted, the arm 17 can be

  its turn to return the brush 21 to its starting position shown

  felt in phantom in Figure 4. The path of the brush 21

  is represented by the arrows 102.

  The soil is then rinsed with the aid of liquid supplied via line 49, after which drying by hot air can be brought into action. The mobile hatch 8 is then lowered and then put back into

  place to close the opening in the partition 9.

  The door can then be unlocked unless a coin operated device is activated in the case o

  there is a charge for using the health unit.

  In the embodiment shown in Figure 6 the toilet block also includes a public part 1 and a

technical part 2.

  will now be described with reference to FIGS. 7 to 10.

  When the movable hatch 8 is open, another bag (111, 112) is brought to the seat 113 through the opening thus

  provided by any means of known type.

  The cycle can then be resumed by the arrival of a jet

  of water 114 to unfold the bag thus brought.

  It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to

  embodiments described above to which various modi

  fications and variants can be made without leaving for

as much within the scope of the invention.

Claims (7)

  1. Sanitary unit comprising a toilet bowl <4) fixed in a public part (1), characterized in that it comprises at least cleaning means (7) movable for the toilet bowl, arranged in a technical part (2), a movable hatch (8) from a first position where it isolates the public part from the technical part at a second position where it   clears the way for cleaning means, means of action-   nement (12) for the movable hatch, and actuating means for cleaning means.   2. Sanitary unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the movable hatch is formed by a backsplash disposed behind the toilet bowl and forming an orifice in a partition   between the public part and the technical part.   3. Sanitary unit according to any one of the res-   dications 1 and 2, characterized in that the movable hatch is arranged to retract inside the technical part, means being arranged in this part to clean it during its movement.   4. Sanitary unit according to any one of the res-   dications 1 to 3, characterized in that the means of net-   toyage for the toilet are arranged at the end of a first telescopic arm whose other end is integral with   the end of a second telescopic arm.   5. Sanitary unit according to any one of the claims   cations 1 to 4, characterized in that the cleaning means for the toilet bowl comprise a rotary brush and a   cleaning fluid supply line.   6. Sanitary unit according to any one of the res-   dications 1 to 5, characterized in that it includes in its   technical part a storage location for susceptible bags   to adapt to the toilet bowl, and means to transfer said bags one by one from the storage location to the toilet bowl.   7. Sanitary unit according to claim 6, characterized in that the bag is held in place by pinching between a movable part of the seat of the toilet bowl and a fixed part. TG / JC / ET / 49115
