Abstract

The heat recuperator consists of a double skinned enclosure having an outer casing and an inner casing connected to an air inlet plenum under the hearth. Three openings are provided at the top of the enclosure allowing warm air to discharge into the room. A matrix of inclined tubes connects the two side enclosures so that air flow from side to side across the path of the hot flue gases passing to the chimney. The upward inclination of the air tubes ensures a more efficient circulation of the warm air.

La présente invention concerne les appareils de chauffage par cheminée permettant de récupérer la chaleur dispersée dans la cheminée et par les parois latérales, la sole et le fond
Dans les cheminées actuelles et connues depuis des millénaires, la chaleur dispensée par la combustion du bois en particulier, est évacuée pour 80% par le conduit de fumée,
On peut considérer qu'un foyer offre la fioure d'un cube, ayant six faces évidemment. Une seule de ces faces radie de la chaleur dans le local ; les quatre autres faces, soit le dessous, les deux côtés et le fond étant isolés par les parements et maçonneries.Seul reste ouvert le dessus ou 6ème côté, évacuant les fumées à l'extérieur par le conduit ; mais en évacuant les fumées se trouve aussi entrainée la chaleur de tout le foyer : seul subsiste le rayonnement de la face avant, ce qui limite considérablement l'efficacité dudit foyer. L'échangeur de chaleur selon l'invention permet d'obvier à tous ces in convénients et de décupler l'efficacité d'un tel système.L'échangeur de chaleur se compose de deux caissons en tôle inclus l'un dans l'autre, de forme adéquate et précisée sur le dessin, ouvert sur la face avant et sur le dessus et comportant un ventilateur à la base ; dans le haut de ces caissons, montés en obliques dans le circuit des fumées évacuées ou avaloir et se croisant, sont prévus des tubes métalliques dont les extrémités inférieures sont tail lées en écopes et les extrémités supérieures en inductions, afin de permettre une meilleure circulation de l'air mis en mouvement par le ventilateur dans l'espace compris entre les deux caissons. Le manteau de la cheminée est, lui même, à double paroi, constitue une partie du caisson et sa continuité : trois bouches de chauffage operculables diffusent l'air chaud dans la pièce à chauffer en haut dudit caisson.
