Abstract

The arm-chair is esp. for use in a garden. It has a metal tubular frame designed so that the bottom tubular sections of the side frame sections form rockers (2,2') while the top ones act as arm rests and spacer pieces, and hold the textile covering tightly stretched. 1.- Armchair, in particular for garden, comprising a metal tube frame, in which the lower tubes of the lateral frames serve as skids and the upper tubes of these lateral frames serve as armrests, spacing tubes determining the spacing of the lateral frames and now stretched the textile covering, characterized in that the two lateral frames joined by screws, by means of a coupling rod (15), are bent in the shape of an S, the lower elbow of the S, open towards the front, serving as a skate () and its ends being directed practically vertically upwards, and the upper elbow of the S, open towards the rear, serving as an armrest and further rising at its end to form the backrest, in that the ends (7, 7 '; 3.3') of the side frames respectively directed upwards are joined by U-shaped front and upper stirrups (4, 8), and in that the ends of the coupling rod (15) are joined by screws a u lower bend of the side frames in the region of the seating position of the seat.

2.- armchair according to claim 1, characterized in that the shoe-forming tube (2) forms with the central tube of the lateral frame joining the elbows a greater angle than that which is formed between the tube serving as armrest and the tube central.

3.- armchair according to claim 2, characterized in that the two elbows of the S-shaped side frame have a radius between 50 and 150 mm, preferably between 80 and 120 mm.

4.- armchair according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the horizontal tube of the front stirrup (4) folded in the shape of a U is about 350-550 mm, preferably 450-500 mm , above the ground once the bracket is fitted.

5.- Armchair according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the tubular ends of the lateral frames (1 and 1 ') folded in an S shape are joined to the tubular ends of the front and upper stirrups (4 and 8 ) folded back into a U shape by means of inner sleeves 5, the plug-in elements of which (17 and 17 ') fit into the tubular ends and comprise in the middle a peripheral bulge (6) formed substantially in the thickness of the wall of the ends tubular.

6.- armchair according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the coupling rod (15) is shaped at its ends in correspondence with the tube of the lateral frame and comprises locking elements (19) directed towards the interior from the ends and comprising an internal thread (22), these locking elements comprising at least one peripheral groove (20) in which the recessed parts (21) of the coupling rod (15) engage, and screws (18) removably coupling the side frames to the coupling rod (15) passing through holes in the tubes of the side frames.

7.- Armchair according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that a practically rectangular covering comprises, at its short sides, continuous transverse loops (12, 13) for threading the front and upper stirrups ( 4 and 8) folded in a U shape, a transverse loop (16) arranged practically in the middle to thread the coupling rod (15), and at the level of the two longitudinal sides respectively of continuous lateral loops (10 and 11) to thread on the tubes, in the region of the seat and the back, of the side frames folded in an S shape.

8.- Method for assembling the individual parts of the chair according to claims 1 to 7, characterized in that, on the upper ends of the side frames joined by means of the front stirrup, the upper transverse loop (13) of the covering is put on containing the upper bracket (8), starting with the lower lateral loops (11, 11t), the covering being threaded on the upper ends (7 and 7 ') of the lateral frames (1 and 1') until the side loops are practically in the subsequent seating position, the upper stirrup located in the upper transverse loop (13) is fitted into the upper ends (7 and 7 ') of the side frames, the locations of the interlocking by the upper lateral loops (10 and 10 ') threaded after on the ends (7 and 7'), after which the front stirrup (4) is removed and after having introduced it into the lower transverse loop (12) of the coating (9) we replace its ends mites in the front ends (3) of the side frames (1 and 1 ') folded in an S shape, and finally we thread the coupling rod (15) to stretch the covering in the central transverse loop (16) and we screw its ends on the tubes of the side frames, by means of coupling screws (18).
