Abstract

A plurality of perforated self-sealing membranes (3), which are created by circular, external wall depressions (2), are provided in the wall of the box body (1) of the plastic box. Externally flush connecting disks (6) are inserted into the depressions (2) before the membranes (3) are used. A centre pin (7) in these disks (6) projects through the centre hole (4) in the membrane (3) in a clamping manner. The disks (6) are thus fixed in the wall in a captive manner but can easily be removed by pressing on the pin (7) from the inside if it is intended to insert a cable (5) and to connect said cable to a terminal (8).
