Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de réalisation d'un guide d'ondes optique organique ayant une géométrie plane prédéterminée. Une couche d'une matière photoactive organique est d'abord déposée, à une épaisseur prédéterminée, sur un substrat 10. Cette composition photoactive peut former un guide d'ondes lorsqu'elle polymérise. La couche photoactive ainsi déposée est ensuite exposée à un faisceau d'une radiation ultraviolette à travers un masque présentant la géométrie plane souhaitée, et la couche photoactive déposée est ensuite developpée afin qu'il ne reste, qu'une partie 18 formant un guide d'ondes ayant la géométrie plane souhaitée. Domaine d'application : coupleurs optiques.
