Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant qu'une opération effectuée au niveau d'un poste de travail, sur une pièce qui est déplacée devant ce poste, soit achevée même s'il survient un arrêt non prévu du moyen transporteur portant la pièce. L'appareil permettant de commander une opération effectuée sur une pièce 2 au cours de laquelle la pièce est déplacée par un transporteur 1 devant un poste de travail 3 comprend un dispositif 4 qui effectue l'opération sur la pièce, un moyen d'entraînement 6 qui répond à un ralentissement ou un arrêt du transporteur en entraînant le dispositif dans le sens opposé au sens de déplacement de la pièce, et un moyen de commande qui commande le moyen d'entraînement de façon à maintenir sensiblement une vitesse relative voulue entre la pièce et le dispositif jusqu'à achèvement de l'opération. L'invention s'applique notamment aux opérations de revêtement par pulvérisation, de peinture au pistolet, de contrôle de qualite et aux essais non destructifs.
