Abstract
The generator or heating type instrument comprises a permanent magnet rotor inside a copper cylinder which is heated by the Foucault currents. The heating effect is used to provide warm air or water. A permanent magnet rotor (2) is rotated by an electrical or hydraulic motor (7). The rotor is surrounded by a copper cylinder (3) to form a heating body. Its thickness is sufficient to avoid mechanical deformation for the temperature and pressure conditions. An external envelope (5) with end plates forms a cooling chamber (4) from which the thermal energy can be recovered. The chamber is designed for the particular requirements for the production of warm air or water or steam.
