Abstract

The pneumatic drier creates streams of hot drying air with the particles in suspension. This is done turning the gas flow inside a body which has a tangential entry for extra hot clean air. Between the entry and the outlet (9) is an adjustable direction, helical baffle (22) to maintain the gas in rotation. The body is a vertical cylinder (8) and the extra air is injected into an annular space (14) between the inner body and an outer one, and at a lower level.
