Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'acide phosphorique. Le procédé consiste à faire entrer une matière contenant du phosphate de calcium en contact avec un excès suffisant d'acide fluorosulfonique en présence d'une quantité suffisante d'eau pour catalyser et conduire les réactions de transformation du phosphate principalement en pentafluorure de phosphore et en oxyfluorure de phosphore; à séparer ensuite les composés phosphorés volatils de l'acide fluorosulfonique en excès et de la matière résiduelle et à hydroliser le pentafluorure de phosphore et l'oxyfluorure de phosphore pour produire de l'acide phosphorique et du flurorure d'hydrogène. Le procédé de l'invention offre l'avantage d'une grande simplicité de l'appareillage nécessaire.
