Abstract

L'invention consiste en un procédé de purification de l'insuline en utilisant un échangeur de cations qui est un gel de dextrane réticulé contenant des groupement sulfoalkyle ou carboxyméthyle. L'insuline est éluée, sous forme purifee, avec un milieu aqueux acide contenant de l'urée et une concentration variable d'un sel minéral. L'insuline purifée par le procédé précédent peut avoir été préalablement purifiée par chromatographie sur gel échangeur d'anions. Ce procédé permet d'enlever de l'insuline les protéines autres que l'insuline, sur une échelle industrielle, et avec une perte minimale en insuline.
