Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau composite utilisable comme support de culture et qui est composé au moins pour partie majoritaire de matière biodégradable. Il se présente sous la forme d'un bloc homogène de hauteur déterminée, de faible densité, présentant une structure interne en forme de réseau ouvert, ledit bloc : - étant composé pour partie majoritaire d'une matière végétale sous forme d'éléments individuels de grande longueur par rapport à leur largeur et à leur épaisseur, lesdits éléments étant disposés au hasard dans les trois dimensions et étant solidarisés entre eux par une matière liante non biodégradable ou plus lentement biodégradable que la matière végétale; - comportant dans toute son épaisseur un canal central renfermant une matière présentant une bonne capillarité.
