Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie électrochimique. Elle a pour objet une pile qui comprend un récipient extérieur 118 et, à l'intérieur de ce récipient, au moins deux éléments non aqueux 114, 116 comprenant une solution électrolytique qui contient au moins un liquide choisi parmi un oxyhalogénure, un halogénure, le dioxyde de soufre liquide et leurs mélanges, outre une matière élastique 120, 124, disposée contre les éléments, qui contient un agent immobilisant qui réagit avec le contenu des éléments lorsqu'il s'échappe de l'un quelconque des éléments. La matière élastique consiste par exemple en fibres pressées, en fibres feutrées, en étoffes tissées ou en particules. Cette pile est préférée pour des applications exigeant une grande puissance spécifique.
