Abstract

The water heating solar panel has an inflated forward surface. The panel consists of two black plastics panels heat welded together to define a water channel. The forward sun-facing side of the panel has a plastics transparent cover welded at the perimeter of the rectangle and between the water channels to the black upper layer. The transparent layer forms a series of lenses over the channels. It is inflated at a low pressure with air or pref. with cabon dioxide to increase the overall efficiency.
