Abstract
Solar energy collector for heating a heat transfer fluid has the heat transfer fluid in direct contact with the surface for capturing the thermal energy generated by the green house effect. Surface is pref. defined by the heat transfer fluid itself contg. black pigments or other substances capable of increasing its absorption power. The thermal energy is thus communicated directly to the heat transfer fluid, improving considerably the efficiency of the collector. In addn., the collector lends itself to fabrication integrally in moulded plastic material, making it light, and easy and economical to mfr.
