Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour l'élimination en continu de gaz ammoniac d'un courant gazeux. Le gaz ammoniac est éliminé d'un courant gazeux dans un lit 30 de matériau imbibé par un acide et ce lit est ensuite régénéré en faisant passer un courant de gaz contenant de l'oxygène au travers de celui-ci L'acide réagissant avec le gaz ammoniac est l'acide phosphorique et le support de cet acide est le carbone sous forme de particules ou de granulés poreux. Dans un système de piles à combustible 36, des dispositifs de purification de ce type alternativement éliminent l'ammoniac d'un gaz de reforming et ensuite sont régénérés de façon à fournir aux piles à combustible 36 un courant continu d'hydrogène sensiblement sans ammoniac.
