Abstract

Dispositif pour capter les vapeurs de combustible émanant du réservoir à combustible et de la cuve du carburateur d'un moteur à combustion interne. Ce dispositif comporte une boîte 26 d'emmagasinage de vapeurs de combustible reliée, d'une part, au réservoir 20 de combustible et à la cuve 18 du carburateur par des conduits respectifs 24, 28, et d'autre part, au passage d'admission 16, en aval du papillon des gaz, par un conduit de purge 62. En outre, la boîte 26 est reliée par un conduit 58 de mise à l'atmosphère à un lit supplémentaire 68 d'emmagasinage de vapeurs de combustible disposé dans le filtre à air 14 pour capter les vapeurs de combustible qui s'échappent de la boîte, ce lit 68 étant complètement purge par le courant d'air d'admission du moteur. Application aux moteurs d'automobiles.
