Abstract

The silo is used for bulk goods. It has an outlet chamber with a ventilation pipe of a small cross section leading from the upper part of the outlet chamber to a ventilation chamber which forms part of the outlet path of the bulk goods fitted behind the outlet chamber. The ventilation pipe (20) is fitted with a closure element (21) outside the chamber (5) and the main silo area (1) which is controlled together with the outlet from the main silo or the outlet chamber. The ventilation pipe leads into the outlet path of the bulk goods, and extends in a vertically downward direction.
