Abstract

1,021,167. Valved bags. WEJRA A.S. Sept. 18, 1964, No. 38113/64. Heading B8K. Easily rupturable weldings or gluings 11 between a valve sheet 2 (Fig. 2, not shown) and the adjacent wall 4 of a plastics bag separate the openings 8, 9 to the valve tube 7 formed by the sheet 2 and the wall 4. The valve sheet 2 extends the entire length of the bag and may be formed by folding in one wall of the bag before the end seal 3 is made. The weldings may be horizontal as shown or V- shaped and both the inlet and outlet openings may be circular. A separate strip of foil of different rigidity from the rest of the bag may be used.
