Caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un moteur, un mécanisme de changement de vitesse hydraulique progressif muni d'un arbre de sortie, un arbre d'entrée reliant le moteur au mécanisme de changement de vitesse hydraulique progressif et comportant une partie en prolongement, un arbre de prise de force ou PTO associé à la partie en prolongement, un dispositif de roulement, un arbre de transmission associé à l'arbre de sortie, et un mécanisme de changement de transmission, pouvant assurer la transmission de puissance entre la partie en prolongement et le dispositif de roulement quand la transmission de puissance entre l'arbre de sortie et le dispositif de roulement est coupée. c. L'invention s'applique aux tracteurs agricoles.
