Abstract

Procédé de production d'un précurseur de fibre d'alumine. Le procédé consiste à entraîner la solution épaisse pour fibre d'alumine, ayant une viscosité dans la gamme de 500 à 2 000 cps à etre alimentée en continu à travers une canalisation d'alimentation dépassant dans l'ouverture au centre d'un disque de forme entonnoir et à être délivrée à la surface inclinée dudit disque de forme entonnoir en rotation et ensuite à permettre à la solution épaisse de se disperser uniformément et de se convertir en fibre. Application du procédé de production du précurseur de fibre d'alumine à la fabrication d'une fibre d'alumine polycristalline.
