Abstract
Nouveau dérivé du disila-1,2-cyclobutane et préparation de ce dérivé. Ce dérivé est le tétraméthyl-1,1,2,2 disila-1,2 cyclobutane. On fait réagir les vapeurs de bis(diméthylchlorosilyl)-1,2 éthane sur les vapeurs de sodium et/ou de potassium métallique à une température d'environ 250 à 380 degrés C et sous une pression de vapeurs de bis(diméthylchlorosilyl)-1,2 éthane d'environ 0,1 à 10 mm de Hg avec condensation subséquente des vapeurs du produit final formé. Application notamment en tant que monomère pour la préparation d'un matériau polymère présentant des caractéristique plastiques, une haute tenue aux hydrocarbures (essences et huiles.
