Abstract

L'enrobage bitumineux à chaud est à la recherche, à moindre frais, de techniques de moins en moins polluantes. Si, sans toiles filtrantes, plus de 90 % de poussières ont pu être évitées par le brevet français n degrés 1.516.830, la présente invention propose une amélioration qui, également sans dispositif extérieur de dépoussiérage, permet de recueillir la totalite des fines dans l'enrobé terminé. Le principe qui permet d'obtenir ce résultat consiste en deux tambours-malaxeurs courts superposés, le tambour supérieur recevant les granulats non séchés, prébitumés, et les malaxe sous le courant des gaz chauds provenant du tambour-malaxeur inférieur qui lui est chauffé, étant alimenté en préenrobé par le tambour supérieur. Les gaz remontant dans la cheminée peuvent être débarrassés des derniers restes d'éventuelle poussière par un mini-dépoussiérage par voie humide pratiqué dans la cheminée même. La boue qui en résulte se joint à l'enrobé mis en condition dans le tambour inférieur. Le cycle est fermé sans sortie de fines à l'extérieur.
