Abstract

Câble optique perfectionné. Un câble optique comporte un filament central nervuré, formé par extrusion d'un matériau plastique sur un élément en fil torsadé central, les gorges constituant des trajets hélicoïdaux, les spires changeant de direction le long du filament. Dans la fabrication du filament, un matériau plastique est extrudé à hauteur d'une matrice fixe, à travers laquelle l'élément torsadé est tiré, et à une certaine distance en aval, le filament est maintenu et tordu d'abord dans un sens, puis dans le sens opposé, de sorte que des trajets hélicoïdaux sont introduits à la sortie de la matrice du matériau plastique. Les guides d'ondes optiques en matériau diélectrique sont placés dans les gorges et l'ensemble est entouré par une gaine en matériau plastique extrudé de façon à former un câble optique. Application à la fabrication des câbles optiques.
