Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'on réalise par voie électrolytique, dans les parties de la surface gravées suivant des procédés de gravure classiques, un dépôt sombre contrastant avec la surface non gravée. Application : règles ou lattes de mesures métalliques.
