Abstract

Procédé destiné à réduire le taux d'émission des oxydes d'azote dans un moteur à deux temps fonctionnant au gaz naturel. Le turbocompresseur est calculé de manière à élever la pression de l'air d'alimentation, à produire un mélange réglé pauvre d'air et de carburant et à abaisser les maximas des températures de combustion. Une chambre de combustion auxiliaire d'allumage uniformise l'inflammation du mélange pauvre dans toutes les conditions de fonctionnement. Les taux d'émissions des oxydes d'azote peuvent ainsi être réduits de 75 %. Application en particulier aux moteurs de commande des compresseurs installés le long des pipelines de transport de gaz naturel.
