Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble pour accrocher une remorque à un véhicule de remorquage et pour actionner automatiquement les freins hydrauliques de la remorque quand le véhicule ralentit et que la remorque tend à le dépasser. Selon l'invention, le dispositif de mise en action des freins a des unités interconnectées pivotantes avant et arrière 16 et 17; quand l'unité arrière avance par rapport à l'unité avant, un ensemble à plongeur 64 est mis en position de freinage pour actionner un maître-cylindre 40 et appliquer les freins de la remorque. On prévoit l'ensemble à plongeur 64, le maître-cylindre 40, un verrouillage à friction 84 pour maintenir un câble 75 de sécurité contre un dégagement de la remorque 11 par rapport au véhicule 12, et un mécanisme de serrage 91 pour coupler l'unité avant 16 à une boule 15 sur le véhicule L'invention s'applique notamment à l'industrie automobile.
