Abstract

Système ayant une résolution latérale améliorée. Il comprend des moyens pour produire et diriger une salve d'ultrasons, un réseau de plusieurs transducteurs annulaires 11 dont les rayons sont progressivement croissants et qui sont agencés concentriquement autour d'un axe central 21 du réseau, ce réseau fournissant des signaux d'écho formés dans les transducteurs dont le temps d'apparition dans un transducteur considéré dépend de la distance entre ce transducteur et le point générateur d'écho 20, des moyens 26, 32, pour former un certain nombre de premiers signaux de démodulation déphasés sensiblement de la même valeur avec les signaux d'écho auxquels ces signaux de démodulation sont respectivement affectés, des moyens 25, 31, pour démoduler les signaux d'écho formés dans les transducteurs et des moyens 27, 33 et 35, pour pondérer et faire la somme des premiers signaux démodules et obtenir ainsi un premier signal de sommation.
