Abstract

The demountable wheel rim (46) is secured on the wheel disc (23) by bolts (22) and a profiled (50) welded under the wheel rim. The relative angles of the wheel rim flange (25) and the mounting flange (50) are adjusted so that a true wheel alignment is obtained when the bolts are tightened. The design allows light alloy wheel assemblies to be used with high speed accurately mounted tyres.
