Abstract
Users of hot water system have variable supply of hot water depending on location relative to pumping plant. A thermostatic valve system prevents the user being charges for supply until water reaches required temperature. In the system a hollow cylinder (2) with two holes (8, 9) slides in a tube (1) when operated by the thermostat (3). When the water is cold the cylinder is retracted to allow communication via one hole (8) and orifice (4) to bypass a counter (6). When water is hot the thermostat allows a second hole (9) to communicate via another orifice (5) to allow water to flow via the counter and a non returnd valve (7).
