Abstract

The valve has a cylindrical housing with inlets for hot and cold water respectively and an outlet for the discharge. Pressure is compensated by a hollow guide which slides axially in the housing and contains the temperature and discharge controls. The guide has wall-apertures for hot and cold inlet and for combined outlet, and is displaced under pressure differential between two terminal chambers until equilibrium is reached.
