Abstract

1,028,629. Valves. DANFOSS A/S. June 14, 1963 [June 26, 1962], No. 23862/63. Heading F2V. The operating bellows 5 of a valve is open to the controlled fluid and is disposed in a chamber 7 in direct communication with a further chamber 8 to which is connected by a capillary tube 12 to room temperature sensitive element 13, the spade 14 in which is open to bellows 15; the latter is provided with a spring 19 which yields if expansion of the thermally suspansion fluid in the space 14 and chambers 7, 8 continues after the valve closes. The capacity of the space 14 must not be more than five times that of the combined volumes of chambers 7, 8. In the embodiment shown, the ratio is 3: 1.
