Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent fluctuation in volume of water by variation of water pressure and to stabilize supply of hot-cold mixed water, by making it possible to achieve with a compound sliding valve switching from a circuit using only a solar water warmer to a circuit using the warm water as a preheated water for a hot-water boiler, etc.
CONSTITUTION: In a circuit using only a solar water warmer, warm water enters a hot-cold mixing cock through a flow inlet 2 and passes through holes 19 and 20 and flows into a hot water storage chamber 7, and it is mixed with cold water in a mixing chamber 8 by opening of a valve of a hot-water cock 11. Cold water flows in through a hole 5 and enters the mixing chamber 8 by opening of a valve 10 of a cold water cock 9, and it is switched to a shower outlet 30 or a bath- room outlet 31 from the same outlet. In the case of utilizing the hot water from the solar water warmer as a preheated water for the hot-water boiler, the warm water goes from the flow inlet 2 to the hot-water boiler through a preheated water chamber 14 and a discharge outlet 3, and it again flows into a flow inlet 4 and moves to the hot-water storage chamber 7. As these switches are achieved by sliding motions of sliding valve parts 23, 24 and 25 which are all arranged into one continuous unit on a leverlike valve body 18 of the switching valve 16, the operation can be simplified.
