Abstract

Heatable insulating composite glass pane has fixed thermoplastics spacer and seals, and heaters between the component glass sheets, the connecting wires of the heaters passing through an intermediate frame. A sealant is packed into the frame where the wires pass through, and thus enveloped the wires whilst at the same time sealing the passages. The intermediate frame has an opening enabling the sealant to be injected. The sealant is a thermoplastics and consists of, or contains, butyl rubber and polyisobutene.
