Abstract

Du carbone finement divisé est produit par un procédé suivant lequel on forme un courant gazeux contenant du monoxyde de carbone en faisant réagir de la houille et de l'air dans un gazogène à laitier liquide, on sépare le monoxyde de carbone du courant gazeux et on soumet le monoxyde de carbone à la dismutation pour obtenir du carbone finement divisé et du dioxyde de carbone qui retourne au gazogène. Ce procédé apparaît compétitif avec le procédé Fischer-Tropsch pour l'exploitation de la houille en remplacement des produits pétroliers.
