Abstract

a. Perfectionnements aux joints universels. b. Un dispositif d'étanchéité perfectionné destiné à être utilisé dans un joint universel comprend un joint annulaire en C qui est pressé pour s'appliquer de manière étanche contre un chapeau de palier par une bague de charge comprimée dans le joint en C. La branche du joint s'applique de manière étanche contre le chapeau de palier avec une pression déterminée. L'ensemble est conçu pour permettre un certain jeu de tourillons du joint, tout en assurant un contact étanche positif comme résultat de l'action de la bague de charge sur toute l'étendue du jeu permis du joint universel. c. L'invention s'applique, d'une manière générale, aux articulations mécaniques et concerne plus particulièrement les joints universels, dans lesquels elle assure une meilleure rétention de l'huile de lubrification.
