Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à assurer l'étanchéité entre les extrémités d'un arbre cannelé et d'un manchon complémentaire. Ce dispositif comprend un corps flexible qui présente des saillies et des interstices alternés, destinés à s'enclencher avec l'arbre cannelé. Les surfaces d'étanchéité du corps flexible présentent des évidements qui constituent des poches destinées à contenir un lubrifiant et à permettre un déplacement de la matière du corps flexible lorsqu'elle est comprimée, ce qui diminue l'usure et le déchirement de cette matière et augmente la durée de vie de ces dispositifs. Domaine d'application : joints coulissants à cannelures pour véhicules, machines-outils, etc.
