Abstract
L'invention concerne un alliage à base de cuivre durci par précipitation avec une résistance mécanique élevée et des combinaisons avantageuses de résistance et de malléabilité. L'alliage selon l'invention est constitué essentiellement par 10 à 30 % de nickel, 1 à 5 % d'aluminium, le reste étant principalement du cuivre, et comportant jusqu'à 20 % au total d'au moins un élément choisi parmi le zinc, l'étain, le fer et les éléments tels que le titane, zirconium, l'hafnium, le béryllium, le vanadium, le niobium, le tantale, le chrome, le molybdène, le tungstène. La microstructure de cet alliage est caractérisée par l'inclusion de précipités finement dispersés de particules de Ni3 Al dans sa matrice. Cet alliage est destiné à la fabrication de ressorts pour contcts électriques.Disclosed is a precipitation hardened copper base alloy with high mechanical strength and advantageous combinations of strength and malleability. The alloy according to the invention consists essentially of 10 to 30% nickel, 1 to 5% aluminum, the remainder being mainly copper, and comprising up to 20% in total of at least one element chosen from among zinc, tin, iron and elements such as titanium, zirconium, hafnium, beryllium, vanadium, niobium, tantalum, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten. The microstructure of this alloy is characterized by the inclusion of finely dispersed precipitates of Ni3 Al particles in its matrix. This alloy is intended for the manufacture of springs for electrical contcts.
