Abstract

L'hydroxy-1-alpha oxo-24 vitamine D3 est un nouveau composé que l'on prépare par irradiation par des rayons ultraviolets du dihydroxy-1-alpha, 3 bêta oxo-24 cholestadiéne-5,7 ou de ses dérivés à radical hydroxy protégé, qui sont également de nouveaux composés de l'invention, isomérisation sous l'effet de l'énergie thermique, puis éventuellement élimination des groupes protecteurs. L'hydroxy-1-alpha oxo-24 vitamine D3 est un médicament utile pour la régulation du métabolisme du calcium de l'homme et des animaux à sang chaud et, avec ses intermédiaires de l'invention, elle est également utile comme intermédiaire de la synthèse de la dihydroxy-1-alpha, 24 vitamine D3 .
