Abstract

Procédé et dispositif pour la circulation des mannequins pour le démarrage de coulée continue verticale de métal liquide. On monte sur le mannequin verticalement jusqu'au-dessus de la plate-forme de coulée, on le transfère jusqu'en alignement sur le moule, on l'introduit dans le moule et après le début de la coulée, on le sépare de l'ébauche, pour le ramener en position verticale éloignée de la ligne. L'invention est particulièrement intéressante pour les coulées de gros diamètres.
