Abstract
Dans ce procédé, on combine une déformation à chaud et une déformation à froid pour obtenir des profilés spéciaux présentant notamment des parties renflées ou amincies dans leur section. Dans la technique antérieure, ces sections spéciales ne pouvaient être obtenues que par filage, laminage à chaud ou autres procédés qui exigent des frais d'investissement importants et excluent la fabrication en petite série. Le procédé suivant l'invention utilise comme départ un feuillard présenté en couronne 2 et qui subit tout d'abord un dressage en 3, un cisaillage en 4, un aboutage par soudage en 5, une accumulation dans un appareil à boucle 6 pour compenser les arrêts dus au soudage, une tension en 7, un réchauffage en 8, une déformation à chaud exécutée en 10 au moyen de cylindres, galets et/ou molesses, un refroidissement dans le poste 11 et une déformation à froid dans une machine à profiler à galets multiples 12.
