Abstract

La présente invention est relative à un procédé de réalisation, dans un tube en alliage à base de zirconium qui est garni de manière interne d'une couche de cuivre, d'une barrière contre la diffusion du cuivre dans l'alliage à base de zirconium. Ce procédé comprend la mise en contact d'au moins la paroi interne du tube avec une substance qui a la capacité d'oxyder du zirconium sans avoir celle d'oxyder du cuivre, à une température de 200 à 550 degrés C, jusqu'à ce qu'une barrière soit formée entre la couche de cuivre et le tube en alliage à base de zirconium La présente invention est applicable en particulier dans le domaine de la fabrication de tubes destinés au combustible de réacteurs nucléaires.
