Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour améliorer la propreté de surface d'un laminé métallique, tel qu'une tôle ou un feuillard en acier, dans lequel, après laminage à froid, ledit laminé est soumis successivement à : - un dégraissage dans une solution alcaline, préféremment de silicate de soude; - un rinçage, accompagné éventuellement d'un brossage; - un bobinage en spires serrées et traitement thermique sous cette forme. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'on incorpore, au bain de dégraissage une substance porteuse de soufre. Application spécialement aux tôles d'acier ou aux feuillards destinés à être recouverts d'une couche de métal, par exemple du zinc ou de l'étain..., notamment par électrolyse.
