Abstract

Dispositif de chauffage par induction et de trempe d'un cylindre de travail destiné à être utilisé dans un processus de laminage à froid. Ce dispositif comporte des moyens pour chauffer par induction le corps du cylindre de travail de façon globale en une seule fois, ledit corps étant disposé à la verticale, des moyens disposés en-dessous de ces moyens de chauffage pour tremper le cylindre de travail après son chauffage, et des moyens pour faire tourner et lever le cylindre de travail disposés en dessous des moyens de chauffage et agencés pour faire tourner le cylindre de travail pendant qu'il est chauffé par ces moyens de chauffage ou pendant qu'il est refroidi par les moyens de trempe, ainsi que pour abaisser le cylindre de travail à l'intérieur des moyens de trempe après la fin du chauffage.
