Abstract

The walking stick can be taken to pieces and has a light source at its lower extremity. The lower tube is made in a translucent plastic material so that the light is emitted in all directions. The lower tube is joined to the tube by a threaded collar. The electrical energy is supplied by 1.5v. batteries or by a miniature rechargeable battery. The battery and the bulb are contained in a removable case contained inside the base of the lower tube. The light can be turned on and off by rotating the lower extremity of the stick.
