1419526 Electric battery lamps NEW PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT CO Inc 13 Dec 1972 [16 Dec 1971] 57622/72 Heading F4R The main tubular body member 4 of a hand torch is internally threaded at the end remote from the light bulb assembly 24 so that it can be connected either to an externally threaded end cap 70 or to one or more additional tubular body members such as 6 or 8 to vary the number of cells which can be inserted. The end cap has an internally threaded aperture to receive a fastener 80 provided with a carrying thong 100, the fastener and thong being stored inside the end cap when not in use.
