Abstract

A shoe or clog, has a transparent body through which light and sound can pass. This allows the clog to be used for publicity to attract attention to the messages on it. A clog has a body (1) of transparent material and a hollow heel (2) whose base contains an incandescent micro-lamp (3) with an associated battery (4). Wires (5) allow a micro-switch (6) to be connected in series to allow the lamp to be switched on or off. The area (7) in contact with the foot is masked by a reflecting foil while the sides (2) are masked to obtain several transparent areas (8) with inscriptions through which the lamp light passes. A mini-magnetic tape cassette with power supply and manual controls may also be inserted in the hollow body to provide a sound output.
