Abstract

The light modulator is integrated into a radio receiver or sound recording or reproduction installation to permit lights to light according to the rhythm of the music. An electronic circuit (1) comprising a light modulator is powered from the power supply (2) of the sound reproducing equipment (9). The power supply may be batteries or derived via a transformer from a mains supply. A switch (K) coupled to a potentiometer which controls light intensity of the lamps (5) permits the light modulator to be switched on or off as required. The lamps are coloured and light when low (G) middle (M1, M2) or high (A) frequencies are emitted by the loudspeaker (4).
