Abstract
La présente invention concerne un élément galvanique comprenant une électode négative de zinc et une électrode positive Suivant l'invention, les deux électrodes sont au contact d'un électrolyte aqueux fortement alcalin et l'on ajoute à l'électrolyte ou à léloctrode positive un chlorure ou un sulfate soluble L'addition peut également être constituée par un sel de métal alcalin, un sel d'ammonium ou un sel de zinc. La concentration de l'addition dans l'électrolyte varie entre 0,2 % en poids et le domaine de sursaturation. Dans cet élément, l'électrode négative est en tôle de zinc et l'électrode positive par exemple en MnO2 , Ag2 O, AgO ou HgO. L'invention permet d'éviter la formation de couche de passivation dans les éléments galvaniques comprenant une électrode négative de zinc.
