Abstract
Le rayonnement parasite engendré à l'intérieur de tubes de Röntgen est diminué par l'emploi d'une électrode façonnée et positionnée de façon telle que la plupart des électrons réfléchis dans le foyer parviennent sur ladite électrode. Le potentiel de l'électrode ne dépasse que faiblement celui de la cathode, de sorte que l'énergie des électrons réfléchis suffit pour que ceux-ci parviennent sur l'électrode. L'invention est fondée sur l'idée que le rayonnement extrafocal est provoqué en partie du fait que, parmi les électrons frappant l'anode, certains sont réfléchis et perdent ainsi quelque peu de leur énergie, les électrons en question frappant l'anode en un autre endroit ce qui donne lieu à l'engendrement d'un rayonnement parasite. L'électrode préconisée par l'invention capte lesdits électrons. Application aux appareils radioscopiques utilisés en médecine.
