Abstract

L'invention concerne une installation pour coulée continue comprenant un dispositif pour secouer du métal fondu dans la coulée. Elle comprend au moins deux groupes d'aimants permanents disposés sur les deux faces du côté long de la coulée placés dans des positions adéquates entre l'entrée du moule de coulage jusqu'à la partie complètement solidifiée de la coulée. Chacun de ces groupes d'aimants permanents est formé par un ou plus de deux aimants permanents distribués dans le sens de la largeur de la coulée, les pôles S et les pôles N de ces aimants permanents étant voisins sur la même face de la coulée. Elle comporte en outre des balais pour entrer en contact avec les rouleaux de support pour produire un courant à l'intérieur de la coulée.
